TranscriptHi guys, in this tip I will explain to you how to delete embedded video in PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I will use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2018 release with a continuous subscription for my demonstration.
The first step is to open a PDF file with embedded video and then go to Tools pane which you can display from View menu > Show/Hide then check Tools Pane or use keyboard shortcut Shift + F4.
In Tools pane click on Rich Media. That will display tools to work with rich media. Ensure that Select Object tool is active, navigate mouse over the video, right click and then go to Edit > Delete.
Just to mention, that Undo command will not work when deleting embedded video file. The only option to recover video is to close the document without saving changes and to reopen it.
I want also to mention Cut and Copy commands which are available from the same contextual menu. Cut command will cut video which you can paste somewhere else in your PDF document but not outside of Acrobat.
Copy command will copy video and you can paste it somewhere else in your PDF document but not and outside of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
