In this tip, I will explain to you why and how to use CC Libraries panel in Adobe Muse. CC Libraries panel is shared container which is available in several Adobe applications. You can create and collect assets from several Adobe applications for your project. It can be a great time saver because you can collect assets in one place plus assets can be stored in native file formats what gives you additional flexibility when you place linked file(s) in Adobe Muse project. Just to mention that you can use CC Desktop app > Assets and Adobe Stock as resources to collect assets in CC Libraries panel.

Today I have to share Future Fiction Tech Panels seamless tiling patterns. Patterns are saved with .pat extension and can be used in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. In this quick tip, I will explain to you why and how to modify or redefine existing Paragraph Style in Adobe Photoshop. The actual benefit is, besides changing the existing style, that Photoshop will automatically apply redefined style to all other text layers with the same Paragraph Style applied.

How to Implement Google Custom Search Engine in Adobe Muse Site

In this tutorial, I will explain to you how to add Google Custom Search Engine to your site created in Adobe Muse. Here is a live example of my site: Photoshop Plus which is created in Adobe Muse.

Feel free to test search and how everything works. Just to mention that I am using Overlay, pre-defined layout for search results. There are and other layout options like Two Page, Compact, Full Width, Google Hosted... Also, there are and other implementation solutions available to you through Object > Insert HTML in Adobe Muse.

Working With Guides in Adobe Muse

In this post, I will give you tips and hints to work with guides in Adobe Muse. Guides are one of the most important aspects when visually building websites in Muse. Using guides you can easily align content and ensure that content is properly aligned across multiple pages as needed.

Creating and managing guides in MuseMost essential and usually first group of guides to deal with are 5 guides on the master page. Use those guides to adjust:

Top of Page - adjust padding above pageHeader areaFooter area (everything between Header and Footer is main content on the page)Bottom of PageBottom of Browser
To adjust the position of those guides navigate mouse over the triangle on the side, click and drag.

Place guidesPlacing guides is easy: click on Ruler (View > Show Rulers or Ctrl/Cmd + R) and drag. After releasing mouse button you will have a guide on your screen.


Reposition guideIf the guide is not where it is supposed to be, do not worry, simply click on the guide and drag to reposition it…

Why and How to Validate HTML in Adobe Dreamweaver

In this post, I will give you tip how to validate HTML document using W3C validator without leaving Dreamweaver CC application. It is a good habit to check and validate document although many small mistakes are allowed and auto corrected by browsers. Do not sleep on that side of the pillow while you have a quick and easy way to check and fix everything inside Dreamweaver.

Why validate? Main reason to validate HTML page is to ensure that your page will be interpreted as you want by various browsers and various platforms. There are many validators out there, just to mention that W3C is setting standards and browsers are following that standard.

Investment in clean HTML code is the investment in feature and better search engine visibility.
