The Difference Between Copy and Copy Merged in Photoshop

Image
There are two commands in Edit menu in Photoshop which are associated with copying content: Copy and Copy Merged. Is there any difference? Yes, of course. For the matter of fact you will see sometimes that both commands are dimmed, other times only one command will be available while sometimes you can use both of them. Well, which one to use and when? It depends on what you want to copy: only content from a single/selected layer or merged content from multiple layers.

When and how to use Copy and Copy Merged  Before any further explanation let me mention that the requirement is always the same: you must have an active selection in order to use any of two commands which are available to copy content. Transparency will be maintained, by the way, when using any of two mentioned copying commands.

Copy When you want to copy content from a single layer then you should use Copy command. Here are steps:

Create a selection using any of selection tools.Ensure that you have a layer with content …

How To Find Images For Templates on Adobe Stock

Image
In this tutorial, I will explain to you how to quickly and easily find files on Adobe Stock. In particular, I will target searches for images which you need for templates. Personally, I am creating lots of templates for web and print and I am very satisfied with filtering and sorting options on Adobe Stock.

Finding images for templates
From my personal experience, you'll be creating one of three kinds of templates: templates where you can place similar images, templates where you need images with the same model and templates where you need images from the same series.

In addition, you'll need sometimes images with the only certain orientation like portrait, landscape or square images. Fortunately, Adobe Stock can meet all your needs and all above mentioned "requirements" and much more.

Here is my video tutorial which will help you to search files on Adobe Stock, especially when you are searching for images for print or web templates.
