Clear (Reset) Transformation in Adobe InDesign

Steps to reset transformation in Adobe InDesign
One of cool features in Adobe InDesign is to scale placed image or object independently of frame. Sometimes it can cause distortions if you are not enough patient when scaling images and objects. Whenever you have doubt about distortion click on frame with image or object and expand Links panel. Take a look at Link Info and in particular Scale percentage just below dimensions. If you have 2 different percentages in Scale section that’s good sign that image or object are distorted and scaled non-proportionaly. To quickly fix this problem open Window > Object and Layout >Transform panel. With frame selected click on transform panel menu and choose first option Clear Transformations then transform object again with more accuracy.
