Proof colors for internet in Photoshop

Adobe RGB (1998) is recommended working space for all images you are working with in Photoshop regardless of their final destination: print or Web. When we speak about proofing we usually think about prints and softproofing colors before sending image to printer but you can proof and appearance on internet with built in or default Internet Standard RGB (sRGB) proof profile. To see how colors will look when posted to the internet first go to View > Proof Setup > Internet Standard RGB (sRGB) then check Proof Colors from View menu. Softproofing does not change the file, it simply previews how the appearance of an image will change when printed or posted to the Web.

Note: proof profile will remain default until you change it manually.
