APS Border Segment Brushes

This set contains 31 Brush preset. Every preset is captured with 4 different angles: 0°, 90°, 180° and 270° so you have 124 different presets. Brushes are suitable to add decorative borders to the images and to create interesting backgrounds. Downloads from Photoshop Exchange:

Brushes for Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Elements to create decorative borders and backgrounds
After downloading and unzipping package copy and paste APS Border Segments.abr file in Photoshop\Presets\Brushes or
Photoshop Elements\Presets\Brushes folder on your computer. You can also save brushes anywhere on your hard drive and load them from Preset Manager in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements: Edit > Preset Manager.

Decrease Brush Size:  [

To increase or decrease brush size hold down Alt key, right click and drag left or right. On Mac Ctrl + Option + drag left or right.

To open Brush pop-up window right click in image area with Brush tool selected.


Create new blank layer and experiment with different brushes, sizes and colors.

Apply Stroke layer effect then create new blank layer and enhance straight Stroke lines.

To create interesting backgrounds lower brush size and open Brush panel: Window > Brush. Use Scattering, Shape Dynamics, Color Dynamics (boost all sliders). Change Foreground and Background colors as desired, click and paint. Use and blending modes from Options Bar to make things even more interesting.
